Against a deep blue-black background, a spotlight falls vertically, illuminating a cave-like space and outlining a circular stage where a ping pong ball becomes the sole performer. The crisp sounds of the ball bouncing and rolling emerge occasionally, moving from near to far until they fade away, only to reappear moments later; the ball's shadow flickers in and out of darkness, creating a visual rhythm that flows from stillness to motion and back again. Sound and shadow trace trajectories of forward motion that vanish instantly, as if pushing the darkness in the image deeper and further away. The work invites viewers to follow the appearance and disappearance of sound and shadow, shifting their gaze from the visible light to the invisible darkness, contemplating the darkness itself where time flows and space extends.
